A yoga student becomes alarmed by the instructor's sudden interest in her throat at the same time a fellow student is found dead in a nearby alley drained of blood with puncture marks on her neck. Now she senses this yoga instructor has followed her home and she is next.

When she finds her friend she learns her friend has moved to an expensive penthouse on Chicago's pristine lakefront and her that new landlord has weird behaviors. The new hickeys appearing on her friend's neck cause concern, and her friend isn't feeling well.
